In trying to decide what to do with this site I have been through a wide range of ideas but I think I have found the direction I would like to go.  Before explaining that I would like to provide a little background about myself and how I got to this point.

My name is Michael Yardley and I have been a school teacher for nearly a quarter of a century, but that is a very narrow definition of my experience and who I am.  Summer jobs, side hustles, and hobbies have helped me get experience in construction, telecommunications, Heavy equipment repair, mechanics, web development, web retail, video production, photography, electrical, plumbing, retail, and a few more things.  I really fit the definition of a jack of all trades, and a master of none.  The thing that I feel like I have mastered is solving a problem.

As a teacher, I am often seeking out solutions to help my students with special needs to find strategies and tools to help them succeed.  As a car wash owner and landlord, I am frequently finding solutions to repair or improve equipment and facilities. As a father, I’m frequently finding solutions for repairing toys, bikes, family vehicles, and more.  I started to think that there are a lot of people out there that are often looking for solutions to similar problems.

I decided that Sugoi Creative should be a place to showcase maker-based solutions to problems.  I know that I have found a lot of help through those that share on the web and it is my hope that I can do the same for others.
